Dear CUPE 2348 member,

We hope you’re enjoying a safe and relaxing summer with your family and friends.

Planning is well underway for this year’s Labour Day celebrations and you are invited to join us. Please Save the Date: Monday, September 7

The Labour Day Family Fun Day at Memorial Park is starting at 3:00 pm. Bring your kids, grandkids, family, and friends, and join us for an afternoon of fun, games, and celebration.

There will be activities for all ages, and there will be some friendly inter-union competition! If you are interested in joining a team and show off your union pride let us know by emailing the office at local2348@gmail.com. And we hear that there will be trophies!

Labour Day is our day — a chance to honour the history, strength, and future of our movement. Let’s come together to celebrate our families, our unions, and the labour movement we’re all proud to be part of.

CUPE MB Convention–Save the Date

The CUPE Manitoba Convention is coming soon.

This year’s theme is “Locals United:  Stronger Together” and it is taking place in Winnipeg April 21-24, 2026.  If you are interested in attending as a delegate on behalf of CUPE 2348, please complete the Convention Attendance Request Form at the link below or send back to local2348@gmail.com.

Stay tuned for details about shop steward training.  Our goal is to have at least one shop steward trained and active for each sub-unit.
